Youth Worker

Casual, 6 hours a week during school terms

The Youth Worker will coordinate and deliver the ‘Our Place’ youth group which runs weekly during school terms on Monday nights at Manna Gum Community House. It was established in 2020 and has a regular attendance of between 10 and 25 young people each session, aged between 11 and 16 from the Corner Inlet area. It is a safe place for young people to meet with their friends, connect with other young people and more broadly with members of their local community. The program is supported by volunteers and a hot meal is served.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on volunteer support to reach our full potential and provide the Corner Inlet community with the services it deserves.
