Learn general maintenance, chain sharpening, using basic cutting techniques on fallen timber, plus relevant legislation and OHS.
BYO ear protection (muffs) and safety glasses (essential) and chainsaw if you have one (let staff know when booking). Wear leather boots and suitable clothing.

Perform CPR (HLTAID001) & Apply First Aid (L2) (HLTAID003)
Provide CPR will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to handle cardiac emergency situations.
Apply First Aid (L2) will teach you how provide CPR, first aid response, life support and how to manage a casualty/incident until medical or other assistance arrives. Apply First Aid (L2) will be valid for 3 years when completing CPR the 2 years in between.
Participants will be assessed and upon successful completion will be awarded a nationally-recognised Statement of Attainment.
Please wear suitable clothing.
