Learn general maintenance, chain sharpening, using basic cutting techniques on fallen timber, plus relevant legislation and OHS.

BYO ear protection (muffs) and safety glasses (essential) and chainsaw if you have one (let staff know when booking). Wear leather boots and suitable clothing.

Chemical Handling Certificate & Refresher (AHCCHM303A/AHCCHM304A)

AHCCHM303A – Prepare and Apply Chemicals. AHCCHM304A – Transport, Handle and Store Chemicals. This accredited course covers state legislation, pest control, labelling and boom spray calibration. Completion provides Chemcert registration for five years and eligibility to apply for ACUP from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

Food Safety Supervisors Training

Food Safety Supervisor Hospitality (SITXFSA101 & SITXFSA201), Food Safety Supervisor Food Processing (FDFFS1001A & FDFFS2001A), Food Safety Supervisor Health (HLTFS207C, HLTFS309C & HLTFS310C).

Ideal for those seeking work or working in the hospitality industry, those intending to start their own restaurant or take-away business, people working with children or the aged, in school canteens and people selling food at markets.

Cost: $275 (includes Level 1)

Perform CPR (HLTAID001) & Apply First Aid (L2) (HLTAID003)

Provide CPR will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to handle cardiac emergency situations.

Apply First Aid (L2) will teach you how provide CPR, first aid response, life support and how to manage a casualty/incident until medical or other assistance arrives. Apply First Aid (L2) will be valid for 3 years when completing CPR the 2 years in between.

Participants will be assessed and upon successful completion will be awarded a nationally-recognised Statement of Attainment.

Wear suitable clothing.
