‘The Big House’ is a collaboration of sculpture and stained glass by Kate Shone and Cat Blamey Wheeler recognizing historical illegitimate birth. The Artists exhibited the piece in England as a symbolic memorial installation. Now ‘The Big House’ will be coming to Manna Gum Community House Foster.
The forum will share the story behind the work, intriguing ancestry discoveries and experiences exhibiting overseas. Participants also have the opportunity to design their own coat of arms with the artists.
