Learn how to make a soft toy: an eco-friendly, sustainable and personality-full friend out of Australian-made alpaca wool. Create a basic body, add ears and make a cute face that will make everyone smile.

Basket Making – Woven Flax Basket

Learn how to make a small decorative basket out of stripped flax. It will involve twining with two weavers and an interesting, different beginning. Small beads or nuts can be used for embellishment. Beginners welcome.

Create a Stained-Glass Sun Catcher

Make your own sparkling stained-glass sun catcher and learn leadlighting, soldering and glass-cutting techniques.

For people who have completed the Create a Glass Suncatcher course, this workshop extends those skills and enables participants to be guided through personal projects and repairs.

Introduction to Printmaking – Linocutting

Create your own lino-cut and print onto various mediums including gift cards. Suitable for absolute beginners. Children aged 12+ welcome. All materials provided.

Faux book 1

Card Making 

Have some fun creating three lovely paper projects/cards to share with someone special in your life. All materials are provided and use high quality Stampin’Up products, so you will leave with some beautiful handmade projects.

Every Friday at 11am Tanja Aitchison leads an informal, social knitting circle in the Manna Gum Community Lounge for people working on their own projects
