Growing your own seasonal vegetables is rewarding in so many ways and the glut of spring and summer crops can sustain your family over the winter months. This course teaches you what is needed for growing your own vegetables at home and a variety of methods for preserving them.
Learn organic pest control methods, how to grow from seeds, companion planting, what is in season for spring and summer planting and then a variety of ways to preserve them in the kitchen. A true paddock-to-plate short seminar. Seasonal lunch included.

Propagating native plants and edibles
Learn how to propagate native plants and edibles from cuttings at the Manna Gum Community Garden. You can use plants from the garden or bring your own. Please bring your own secateurs.
